They lie awake and wonder why no one really cares.
Everybody gave them their fear,
To a caring listening ear
And now they just lie crying because no one cares.
Why does it all hurt so
Does the pain ere go away
Will life ever get to normal
And keep the pain away
They run hard to distance from the hurt
Close down
Ignore the pain
Numb your mind.
